Archaeology Projects (external)
The Society is accumulating a small collection of archaeological books and magazines covering a range
of subjects, cultures and periods. Arrangements are now in place to allow members to borrow these
books for home loan.
The books are kept in the library room at the Museum of North Devon, Barnstaple.
On presentation of their N.D.A.S. membership card, members can withdraw the book/s of their choice, or just browse if they so wish. A registration book is provided and members are required to fill in the appropriate details. Please remember to return the book in a reasonable time, as others may wish to refer to it.
You should note that the library room at the museum is also used for meetings and talks etc., so access is sometimes not possible. To save yourself a wasted journey it is advisable to telephone the Museum first (01271 346747).
